The space for this project was literally carved out of a rocky hillside. The layout was adjusted during construction to economize on the expense of excavation in areas of hard rock. The structural design was tailored to accommodate the layout adjustments and the resulting irregular geometry. Difficult site conditions were effectively managed.

Maiocco Structural Engineering took over the structural engineering of this project when the foundation construction was partially completed. As-built foundation conditions were determined from available information and were incorporated into the foundation and superstructure design.
